A great attraction for any golf club is to host a qualifying for The British Open Championship. Something Romford golf club has done for the past few years, which makes for an exciting day. This is a golf course you will enjoy to play when your playing well offering many birdie opportunities but beware any kind of miscues are met and swallowed up by an abundance of well placed bunkers. Amongst some of the easier holes (par 5's) are the very awkward par 3's with narrow entrances and encroaching bunkers. The food at the club has always been found to be good at very reasonable prices not to forget the large spike bar creating a much more relaxed atmosphere. A golf course you will enjoy.
