REVIEW
Hanover golf club although not yet fully matured is one of the best laid out courses in the area & although ,to an accomplished golfer ,it would not be a particularly tough course there are some challenging holes like the 1st,6th,11th,14th & 15th.The rough is difficult but manageable. The greens [ all weather] get better as time goes on but are not so receptive in hot,dry conditions-this does require thought when playing those holes surrounded by water or where out of bounds areas are close to the green! Fairways are very well kept & really the only criticism I have are the perrenial bunker problems-clay based & often absent of sand & perhaps, the lack of aprons in front of the greens which can spoil an ,otherwise good shot through the bounce being so uneven.
In a few years time when the many saplings grow into trees & the greens have had many more dressings I'm sure Hanover will rank amongst the top courses around.
