REVIEW
REVIEW Before 1992 Burnham-On-Crouch was a 9 hole golf course, later being extended to 18 holes to cater for its growing demand. The club a small friendly establishment over looking the Crouch making the views pleasant to the eye. With the small greens and normally demanding rough this golf course is set up for accuracy and a good quality short game. Length is not a priority but does aid in making your approach shots much easier. The 1st hole gets you prepared for what is ahead, a tight drive with substantial rough down the left not to forget the out of bounds to the right. Ahead of you is water hazard protecting the small green to add to the tension associated when playing the first hole. Other holes to watch out for are the 3rd, 9th, and 16th holes where the wind that always seems to blow creates a natural hazard.
