REVIEW
Basildon Golf Club is set between the boroughs of Basildon and Vange housing estates. This public golf course is a fantastic place to start playing and continue by becoming a member of the golf club where you will find great characters to die for. The old par 70 course has now become a par 72 due to the lengthening of the 3rd and 16th holes making them par 5's. This creates many birdie opportunities but you won't be able to relax until your last putt has dropped due to many card-wrecking holes. The proshop is nicely equipped and offers friendly professional service. If a decent course and fun is what your after then they don't come any better than Basildon. The only unpleasant thing is a long round in peak periods especially during the holidays.
