The next seven weeks of lessons concentrate on forming a swing from solid fundamentals.
The Basic Fundamentals of the Golf Swing

Once creating the hip high position in the back swing in (Dia 1) you should
continue to turn your body (fully) and release the right elbow from the side
of your body keeping the elbow pointing downwards as in (Dia 2). From impact
when hinging the left elbow and allowing it to leave the side of your body
to create finish position you must allow your weight to move forward and
your body to come up with the momentum of the swing as in (Dia 3 & 4). Note:
Let right foot come up onto its tiptoe in the follow through.
